Computational design of a novel magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer to selectively detect imatinib in human plasma by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry.
A novel molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) based on ferrofluidic device was successfully designed to detect imatinib (IMA) in human plasma with good selectivity and sensitivity by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS). The MIPs were prepared by combining the bulk polymerization and the functional monomer-template binding method. The molecular recognition between the functional monomers and the template molecules was performed by means of a noncovalent mechanism. The results indicated that the MIP could be successfully synthesized and the template molecule could be specifically recognized by the MIP. The MIP demonstrated high selectivity and affinity toward IMA. The evaluation and optimization of experimental conditions were investigated in detail. The method was validated with satisfactory linearity (R(2) = 0.9956), precision (RSD JERUSALEM -- Israeli troops shot and killed two Palestinian militants who crossed from the Gaza Strip into Israel, the military said Saturday, in one of the deadliest incidents since a 2014 war with Hamas-ruled Gaza.
Military officials said that one of the men was responsible for Sunday's wave of deadly attacks that targeted Israeli Jews in and around the central city of Netanya, killing four people and wounding at least 29.
Military spokesman Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said soldiers fired at the two gunmen near a military post in the central West Bank and killed them. A third man, who was also a Hamas member, was wounded, he said.
